As the leader for the north region, the Northern Zone is committed in delivering excellence training and cooperative education in creating a knowledge-based co-operative society.

Northern Branch conducts short-term courses for the northern region encompassing the states of Kedah, Perlis, Penang and Northern Perak.

Kiambang Lecture Room

CIM Northern Branch is equipped with two lecture rooms namely as Kiambang Lecturer Hall and Teratai Lecturer Hall. Both lecture halls are suitable for seminars, workshops, courses and meetings purpose. Available seats and tables can be arranged according to the tenant arrangement and fully air-conditioned.

In addition, CIMNZ also provides IT equipments such as Computers, LCD projectors and etc that can be rented separately, which can be rented if they are not being used for courses.

• Located on 1st Floor
• Accommodate approximately 60-100 participants at one time

Teratai Lecture Hall

• Located on 2nd Floor 
• Accommodate approximately 35 participants at one time
• Equipped with latest audio-visual system, sound systems, microphones, rostrum, LCD projector, screen, whiteboard teaching and learning.

Kenanga Computer Lab

• Fully equipped with 27 computers with multimedia system, powered by Core 2 Duo 2.9 GHz, 2GB Ram DVD-Writer
• Internet access is available for participants who attending computer courses.

In addition for use during the course, this facility can also be rented out by outsiders during no courses available with very reasonable rental rates as below:

Other Facilities 

The CIMSZ responsibility is to provide the short-term training which focuses on cooperators in Johor and Malacca. With the establishment of the CIMSZ, it will facilitate the cooperators, especially from the southern part of Malaysia, to attend courses offered by the CIM. Besides Johor, CIMSZ also covers Malacca and Negeri Sembilan.

 In addition to the available short-term courses, CIMSZ also provides free advice and consultancy services to the co-operators in need.

The CIM South Zone has an air-conditioned computer lab equipped with 31 computers including a teaching computer. This lab is especially used for participants attending computer courses organized by CIM.

This laboratory facility can also be rented out by outsiders if there is no activity from the CIM with rental rates as follows:

There are also other facilities such as mini library, toilet and lift. For other courses besides computer courses, learning facilities will be held in identifying hotels around Johor Bahru including accommodation in the same hotel.

Facilities at IKMa Sarawak Zone

Gading Lecture Room and Santubong Lecture Room

IKMa Sarawak is equipped with two lecture rooms named the Gading Lecture Room and the Santubong Lecture Room. The Gading Lecture Room is located on Level M, while the Santubong Lecture Room is on Level 10.

The lecture rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with modern teaching aids to facilitate learning, such as computers, LCD projectors, screens, whiteboards, WiFi access, and more. All lecture rooms are air-conditioned and come with audio systems.

The Gading Lecture Room can accommodate approximately 45 people, while the Santubong Lecture Room can hold up to 60 participants at a time. External parties may rent the lecture and meeting facilities if there is no conflict with IKMa Sarawak Zone’s in-house programs and courses, at the rates listed in the table below:

The air-conditioned Serapi Room, also serving as a computer lab, is equipped with 27 multimedia computers, each powered by Core i5 2.8GHz, 4GB RAM, running Windows 7 & 10, with DVD writers and speakers, along with internet access for participants attending computer courses.

In addition to use during courses, this facility can also be rented by external parties at reasonable rates, as stated in the table above.

In addition, there is the Mulu Dining Area to provide food and beverage facilities for participants attending courses at IKMa Sarawak Zone.

Perpustakaan Sejinjang

IKMa Sarawak Zone also provides a Mini Library equipped with a variety of book collections, including business, management, accounting, motivation, information technology, religious books, and books related to cooperatives. In addition, the library houses a collection of cooperative research works that can serve as reference materials for the public.

Apart from academic references, the mini library also offers a selection of fiction books for general reading. This facility is not only available for IKMa Sarawak Zone staff but is also open to course participants during their training period at IKMa Sarawak Zone. The library is supervised by an Administrative Assistant to manage book borrowing and returns.

The Eastern Zone Cooperative Institute of Malaysia  (CIMEZ) is responsible for ensuring the development of human capital in the cooperative movement through training, education and services can be utilized by the co-operative movements either in the interior or in the towns of Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan and parts of Negeri Sembilan which bordering with Pahang.

CIMEZ offers a variety of short courses consist of :

• Business Administration and Information Technology

CIMEZ also organized knowledge program such as professional talks, seminars and conventions. In addition, CIMEZ also provides advisory services and consultancy services to the cooperative movement.
