The Central Zone also serves to implement the Certificate program which is the flagship or identity of the CIM which is the Certificate of Cooperative Management program. In addition, to enhance the competence of cooperative secretaries, to improve the competence of the cooperative secretary, Secretary Professional Certification program is also offered under the Central Zone.

Other than conducting the course, the Central Zone also provides advisory services, develop case studies, produce writing and research related to the specified focus areas.

The focus areas of the courses offered under the Central Zone include the aspects of management and administrative cooperation, cooperative legislation, cooperative leadership, finance, and business management. The main role of the Central Zone is to implement and strengthen the Compulsory Courses. This includes the Compulsory Courses 1, 2, 3 and JAD.

With this Compulsory Course, it can provide exposure and awareness to the ALK and JAD on the importance of integrity and fiduciary duties entrusted to them. The Central Zone covers three states, namely Selangor, Putrajaya, Selangor and Perak Tengah
