Unit Pemantauan & Penilaian (UMN) ditubuhkan pada 1 Mac 2022 dan diterajui oleh seorang Penolong Pengarah Kanan dan seorang pegawai latihan.

The establishment of the Centre for Research Co-operative Institute of Malaysia (CIM) is to enhance research activities and consultation and make it as a continuous culture among CR academics. Through this research and consultation, the CR training officer will be able to enhance  their knowledge and deepen their knowledge in various fields areas related to the management and administration of the cooperative that became the reference of the cooperative movement in Malaysia.

The CR also plays an active role in producing publishing materials in various forms and disseminating relevant information for cooperative movements. CR is responsible for managing CIM publications such as the Malaysia Journal of Cooperative Studies (MJCS), Koop Dimensions, Co-operative Success Stories and Research Monographs

Pusat Pendidikan Tinggi dan Pemantuan (PPTP) ditubuhkan pada 8 Mac 2021 yang terdiri daripada seorang Pengarah Kanan, empat orang Pegawai Latihan dan seorang SUK. Pusat ini terbahagi kepada dua unit iaitu unit pendidikan tinggi yang bertanggungjawab dalam menyediakan latihan pensijilan profesional kepada ALK, pengurusan dan tenaga kerja koperasi serta membangunkan program jangka panjang manakala unit pemantauan bertanggungjawab dalam menyemak dan menilai program akademik yang dijalankan oleh IKM.  

The Center is committed to emphasizing and encouraging any Government policy related to cooperative training and education programs in order to be applied in the Malaysian cooperative movement, including the cooperative relationship internationally. At the same time, the Center is responsible for developing and coordinating cooperation between domestic and foreign cooperative movements.

In addition, the Center also design, develop and coordinate programs internationally as well as short-term courses within the country. The Center also acts as the Secretariat for the ICAE program to send overseas officers, as well as the Secretariat of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (PKTM) or better known as MTCP. In addition, this sector Center also manages international delegation visits to CCM.
