Co-operative Institute of Malaysia(CIM) was established on the basis of to provide education, information, and training to the cooperatives and cooperators formally and informally. Consultation and Advisory Service is an informal education, applied by the CIM to co-operatives and cooperators.
Consulting and Advisory Services is also a great way to approach the root cause for problems faced by the cooperative and to apply local elites to solve the problem based on the Co-operative Societies Act 1993, Regulations, Guidelines, Rules and other rules to fathom any problems experienced by cooperatives. A local elements can be applied to solve the problem in accordance with the Cooperative Societies Act 1993, Regulations, Guidelines and other rules available.
The Consultation and Advisory Services approach is to assist the cooperative towards improvement in the management and administration system with the appropriate methods of cooperation in the current situation. In addition, Consultation Services and Advisory Services is one of the functions set out in the CIM Act and should be highlighted in line with the current developments and changes of the cooperative movement.
