Management and Administration Cooperative
Compulsory Course 1 - Management and Administration of Cooperatives is a basic knowledge of cooperatives with the following objectives:
- Provide exposure on the characteristics of co-operative administration and good management practices.
- Provide exposure on the characteristics of co-operative administration and good management practices.
- To provide an understanding of the duties and responsibilities of a member of the Cooperative Board.

- Roles and responsibilities of cooperative board members.
- Cooperative governance.

INTRODUCTION
In accordance with Guidelines 5 (GP5) Malaysia Co-operative Societies Commission, the Mandatory Course is compulsory course for all members of the Co-operative Board (ALK) and the Internal Audit Committee (IAC).

- Mandatory Course 3: Strategic Management
- Mandatory Course IAC: Cooperative Auditing Accounting Procedures
This course is important to enable the Board to understand the concept of cooperatives as well as identify their roles and responsibilities that are generally viable to manage and monitor cooperative resources and assets efficiently and effectively.
Hence, Board and IAC appointed must attend these three courses within the stipulated period to increase the competence and governance of the cooperative. Failure to attend these courses will have an impact on the ALK involved.
These courses are conducted at the CIM headquarters and in all the CIM zones. Each course takes only 2 days. Applicants may apply for courses according to date and place as scheduled.

Program IKMa dijalankan di Petaling Jaya, Zon Sabah, Zon Sarawak, Zon Utara (Kedah), Zon Timur (Pahang), Zon Selatan (Johor) dan Zon Tengah (Petaling Jaya). Zon ini dikenali sebagai Pengendali.
Senarai kod Pengendali adalah seperti berikut:
- I = Petaling Jaya
- S = Zon Sabah
- Q = Zon Sarawak
- K = Zon Utara (Kedah)
- C = Zon Timur (Pahang)
- J = Zon Selatan (Johor)
- M = Zon Tengah (Petaling Jaya)
Kod Pengendali sentiasa berada di awalan kod kursus.
